A 16" x 16" graphite pencil drawing depicts a fraternity brother of Hayes, Jeff Browning. Jeff is an ultra-marathon runner and a photo was taken of him immediately after one of his 100 mile races. The "Intense" stare was a powerful image that Hayes turned into a work of art. This piece has been exhibited in juried shows in Hilton Head, SC, Overland Park, KS, Kansas City, MO, and Denver, CO
